Hello Again!

Hello again!

       Well, it has been quite awhile since I have blogged; almost a whole year! Saying that a lot has changed since then would be quite the understatement. I have turned eighteen, moved to Chicago, and started my first year of college! I am currently attending Columbia College Chicago, and I am majoring in fashion business. Never in my life did I actually think think that I would have ended up so far away from my family studying something I love.

     Here is a collection of pictures showing what I have been up to these last few weeks...

         Very soon I will take the train back to Lincoln Park and take loads of pictures of the area because it is too cute. Although I really miss home, Chicago is a really amazing place, and I've met loads of really great people too. So excited to explore more of the city!

Urban Mini Haul

Yesterday I went a bit crazy over the holiday dresses in Urban Outfitters, and since Thanksgiving is coming up I thought I might as well just get two of them. ;)



The first dress I picked out is a dark purply blue Kimchi Blue dress with really pretty lace detailing in the front and back. To go with this dress I bought these BDG black leggings that are quite sparkly which I thought was very fitting for holiday festivities. I decided to pair this outfit with my Ecote sort of wedgey heels that I bought around this ime last year, but they are still in really good shape.

 

 

The second dress I bought is by Pins and Needles. I really love the pattern of this dress, and I liked that my glittery leggings would also match so I could get more use out of them. It's super important to me that I never buy anything if I know I'm not going to wear it more than once. That way I can never go super crazy when shopping, and I end up saving more of my or my mom's money. I finished off this outfit with these Kimchi Blue velvet flats that I bought because I don't own any flats. I'm hoping they will last me a while, but I've ever had much luck with the flats from Urban Outfitters.

EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balms

                 I recently purchased two of these Evolution of Smooth smooth sphere lip balms in summer fruit and strawberry sorbet, but in a devastating turn of events I lost the strawberry sorbet. However, the time spent with the strawberry sorbet was magical, and I definitely will be repurchasing it. These lip balms are everything that is good in the world. They smell delicious and leave your lips feeling so soft. They really smell exactly how you think they would based on their names. I absolutely love the shape of them; they are so cute and fit perfectly in my purse. If you have $3.29 you NEED to buy one of these lip balms because they will make your lips oh so happy.

My First Post!

My very first post of my new blog is dedicated to my beautiful friends, who I went shopping with today at buffalo exchange, who can make strange butterfly sunglasses look fashionable. Anyone one who knows me knows that I never stop thinking about clothes, and my friends put up with my constant online browsing and whining about sweaters and lipstick.

This blog is is simply going to be a plethora of all of my favorite things that I have bought or am dying to buy, from beauty products to pretty clothes and accessories. I'm hoping that this will be a place to help people find beautiful things that will make them feel great about themselves, and not take up too much of their paychecks. Enjoy :)
